Monday, July 5th we have added a night with Resident DJ Chris Racine who will spin in the Wave Bar with NO cover charge!  International favorite DJ/Producer Mike Cruz returns to Paramount on Tuesday July 6th to continue the fireworks from 10pm till close. On Wednesday July 7th join us for the infamous Vault at Large Leather Party featuring Resident DJ Chris Racine, doors open at 9:30pm. The grand finale closing party of the weeks’ events will feature DJ Joe Gauthreaux, fresh off his sets at Alegria, Purple Party and many other premier events throughout the country.

Bombshell: Ricky Martin confirms he's gay (duh:)

Puerto Rican pop singer Ricky Martin has taken to his blog to open up about his sexuality. "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man," wrote Martin on Monday. "I am very blessed to be who I am."

In the blog post, Martin talks about being a father to two boys, who were born in 2008 via a surrogate. The birth of his children inspired him to come out.

"If someone asked me today, 'Ricky, what are you afraid of?' I would answer 'the blood that runs through the streets of countries at war...child slavery, terrorism...the cynicism of some people in positions of power, the misinterpretation of faith,'" wrote Martin. "But fear of my truth? Not at all! On the contrary, It fills me with strength and courage. This is just what I need especially now that I am the father of two beautiful boys that are so full of light and who with their outlook teach me new things every day."

The "Livin' la Vida Loca" singer got his start in the '80s Latin boy band Menudo. His solo career took off in 1999, with the release of his first English-language album.

Fashion Icon Alexander McQueen Dead

UK Daily Mail reports:  British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was discovered dead today after taking his own life.  The 40-year-old committed suicide just days after the death of his beloved mother, Joyce, last Tuesday.  It is also just three years since his close friend, Isabella Blow - who plucked him from obscurity and helped him become a star - killed herself.

McQueen, who was christened Lee but used his middle name for his label, was found at his luxury flat in Mayfair, central London. It is believed he hanged himself.  Police were called to the property at 10.20am this morning after he was found dead. A private ambulance arrived to take away his body at 4.30pm.  One of his lines, McQ, was due to be shown at New York Fashion Week this afternoon and has now been cancelled.
